“Tinahak iisang landas, nakarating din sa wakas. Kakayaha’y ibahagi, mithiin mo’y nagwagi - nandito na sa Lunduyan” (You overcome your challenges, you have reached the end. Your skills should be shared, your dreams have finally come true - you’re now here in Lunduyan) - Motivating lyrics from the original sound-track of Lunduyan when it officially debuted. Now, this year, DOST-TAPI is returning with its annual culminating activity for their approved projects from its programs, particularly TECHNiCOM, GALING, and the Venture Financing Program this upcoming October 25, 2024 at the The Bellevue Manila, Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila.
Ang Unang Pagkikita sa Lunduyan
With its trailblazer event last October 02, 2024 at the Podium Hall in Mandaluyong City, DOST-TAPI unveiled twenty-eight (28) technologies, innovations, and inventions from various fields such as: Food and Manufacturing, Health and Wellness, Agriculture, Industry, Energy, Environment, and Medium, Small, and Microenterprises (MSMEs) who have successfully attained their programs and services in GALING, TECHNiCOM, IPRAP, and VFP. Achieving two goals in one action, this is also a celebration resulting from the “fruit of labor” of DOST-TAPI’s 2023 Call for Proposals. Adding from its promising activity, this campaign landed a bronze award out of ninety (90) of the world’s largest brands and companies like Jollibee, Globe, and SM Malls in the 2024 Marketing Excellence Awards (MEA).
“This gives me pride and joy knowing that the agency’s efforts and initiatives with Lunduyan and 2023 Call for Proposals are being seen as a great movement for our local inventors, technologists, scientists, and innovators across the nation. With this award and the success from last year motivates the whole team to strive for the best and continue our advocacy in enhancing the country’s science, technology, and innovation scene…” remarked Atty. Marion Ivy D. Decena, CESO III, DOST-TAPI Director after attaining the 2024 MEA Bronze Award for Lunduyan: Culminating Event for the DOST-TAPI’s Approved Invention, Innovation, and Technopreneurship Projects under IPRAP, GALING, TECHNiCOM, and Venture Financing Program.
Ang Pagpapatuloy ng Paglalakbay ni Liwayway
Infused with its advocacy, DOST-TAPI is thrilled to announce its comeback, centralizing with the continuation of the journey of Liwayway in Isla Dagitab (Island of Ember) - fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and empowerment by unleashing the flame of innovation and propel the nation towards a prosperous and sustainable future, putting the spotlight on the twenty-six (26) beneficiaries from the sectors of Smart Electronics, Software/Platform as a Service, Transport System Technologies, Machining and Fabrication Innovation, Renewable/Sustainable Energy Technologies, Nutraceuticals, and Farm Mechanization and Digital Integration.
